In the center of the financial district in Hong Kong, there are levels and levels of medical clinics and private practitioners hidden inside office buildings. If we had a wider range of opportunities in biological sciences industry, could these doctors also have pursued another career path?

Thank you to Hong Kong Life Sciences Society for the opportunity to explore the topic of life sciences in Hong Kong through my photography. The project has made me think deep about our city's current state in the industry and its potential. On a personal level it has also made me feel nostalgic for my old research lab days!

This was part of a photography series commissioned for the inauguration of HKLSS. Hope we will hold a public exhibition soon with the collection!
